The CFA Institute Access Scholarship Program is designed to make the CFA® Program more accessible to individuals who are unable to afford the full cost of participation and are not currently registered for a CFA Program exam.
- Applicants must meet the CFA Program entry requirements and comply with the Access Scholarship Rules.
Eligibility Restrictions
Individuals are not eligible for an Access Scholarship if they:
Are currently registered for a CFA Program exam. Candidates are considered registered until their exam results are released.
Have an active, unused scholarship on their account.
Submit more than one application during the same application window or have an active application for another CFA Institute scholarship.
Receive financial assistance from their current employer for participation in the CFA Program.
Failed to comply with the audit requirements of a previous scholarship.
Failed to register for or sit for the exam using a previously awarded scholarship. This restriction applies to scholarships awarded on or after 1 September 2024.
Scholarship recipients pay a reduced exam registration fee of USD 400, plus any applicable taxes, under the Premium Registration Package.
Applications must be completed on a desktop or laptop computer. Mobile devices are not supported.
